heard it from The Ghostbusters Homepage.
But we couldn't do it without you,

verified news about Ghostbusters 3. Verified news is something
that is written in a newspaper, or from a news source. Unless of

word of mouth.
That is of course if you can prove
that you really are who you claim.

Who You Gonna Cast?
Entertainment Weekly Online
Feb 19, 1999...."Dan (Akroyd) and I talk about it on a regular basis, and he's done some writing," Ramis says. "The studio would love to make a deal, but they're not sure who to make the deal with, since Bill (Murray) is very elusive, and (original director) Ivan Reitman is kind of standing on the side. The dream plan is that Danny and I would produce it, I would direct it, and we would recruit some newer, younger, popular Ghostbusters to star."

If it is, do you have any idea on when the movie will come out and whether or not Bill Murray will be in it? Watch the show every night, and thanks very very much for your time, Andrew Shaw ***** From: FUNNYONTV@aol.com To: joliet_jake@juno.com Date: Fri, 17 Jul 1998 10:49:43 EDT Subject: Re: Conan and Ghostbusters Message-ID: Conan has nothing to do with the Ghostbusters 3 script.

The strangest sequel
Newsweek Magazine
January 19, 1998
February 6, 1998... 'Men in Black' may be Sony's most expensive sequel negotiation, but it's certainly not the strangest. Dan Aykroyd, it seems, has written a treatment for 'Ghostbusters 3.' He, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ivan Reitman control various rights. After demanding more than 40 percent of Sony's receipts, they all backed down to a more reasonable price, sources say. Except for Bill Murray. He still wants a hefty cut of the gross not to star in the movie.

Luncheon
September 1, 1997... "I had the oppritunity to speak with Harold Ramis at this "Business Leaders Breakfast" thingy about the Chicago film industry. I asked him about GB3 and he sort of sighed and laughed. Pretty much what he told me was that he and Ackroyd have been having some meetings and discussing ideas. The studio hasn't even decided if they want to do the film yet. They don't have anything decided yet as far as script or casting, but they have a few ideas."

Aykroyd reveals, "I've completed one draft of the script,

Busters May Be Back! Milwaukee Journal Sentinal
You've
seen something go bump in the night. Who you gonna call? Maybe
the "Ghostbusters".
Director Harold Ramis says there
are plans for a third "Busters" movie. "Dan
Aykroyd would love to do one. He has approached all of us about
it," Ramis says. "Dan's even writing a script that has
the old Ghostbusters training a whole new younger, and probably
much more handsome team. I sort of think of it as 'Ghostbusters -
The Next Generation.'"
Ramis says one of the former
players probably will refuse to be slimed again. "I don't
think Bill Murray is too interested in busting ghosts
anymore," he says.
